While an EPP or Auth code is needed for transferring most domains, some domain extensions (TLD), such as .uk, have different requirements that need to be taken into consideration for a successful domain transfer.
Preparations
Before initiating a .uk domain transfer, make sure that:
- The domain name is active.
 - You have full ownership of the domain name.
 - Your domain will not expire soon.
 - You can request the IPS tag change from your domain registrar.

Once all these requirements are met, proceed with the next step.
Step 2 – Initiate the transfer
Follow these steps to start the transfer:
- Unlock your domain.
 - Open the Truly Cloud Transfer Domain page (or Transfer Domain if you already have a Truly Cloud account), insert your domain name, and click on Transfer.
 - Proceed with the payment.
 - Set up the order from your Control Panel.
 - Choose whether you want to keep your current nameservers or use Truly Cloud nameservers.

Within a few minutes of completing the order, you’ll receive an email about the transfer. Be sure to confirm it by clicking the link provided.

Step 3 – Change the IPS tag
Once you’ve confirmed the transfer via email, contact your current domain provider to request a change to the domain's IPS tag. Use the following value:
ENOM
After updating the IPS tag, you can track the domain transfer status on the Transfers page in Control Panel.
