In this article, we will show you how to configure the firewall. To make it easier for our customers, the default outbound rule is allow (The GUI does not show this).
Step 1: Login to your account and go to the service that you have ordered with the Firewall.
Step 2: Once you have gone to the service, you should have a menu like this. Expand networking and select Firewall. This will provide you with a new option to add a rule:
Step 3: You will be provided a new window to enter the information:
Please enter:
- IP address (You may only have 1, depending on the service)
- Protocol
- Start port and End port (if you only want 1 port please put the same in bot boxes)
- Source CIDR: This is the IP address the traffic is coming from. If you want to allow all IP's, please use 0.0.0.0/0
