NAT Port Forwarding

If you have purchased a VPS with a firewall, the public IP doesn't sit on the OS interface. Instead, it is on a firewall with the VPS hiding behind. To route public traffic to the VPS for inbound connections, you will need to create a NAT rule to forward on the traffic (firewall rule is needed as well).

Step 1: Login to your account and go to the service that you have ordered with the Firewall.

Step 2: Once you have gone to the service, you should have a menu like this. Expand networking and select port forwarding. This will provide you with a new option to add a rule:

Step 3: Click Add New Rule

Please select the

- IP address (you may only have 1, depending on service)

- Protocol TCP or UDP

- Select your server (depending on service, you may have multiple)

- Enter the public port and the internal port. Normally, these are the same.

Step 4: After that, you will need to create a firewall rule to allow the traffic. If you do not traffic still will no flow.
